Meet the Facilitators

Nick Borelli leverages his background in experience design, event tech, and digital marketing to help event professionals reach their full potential. His decades of contributions to live and digital communication all serve one mission: bringing the world together through intentionally designed experiences.

He has presented internationally on a wide range of topics, volunteered with numerous industry associations, and contributed to dozens of publications — including a decade on the board of the meetings and events non-profit The SEARCH Foundation. Nick has been named a Changemaker by MeetingsNet, awarded International Volunteer of the Year by the International Live Events Association, and won numerous marketing awards. He is the instructor of the Enhancing Events with AI course with the PCMA Institute.

Kimberly Roberts is an award-winning event strategist, producer, and AI consultant with more than 20 years of experience designing and delivering high-impact corporate events, conferences, and experiences for global organizations. As Founder and Principal Consultant of AI Strategic Results, LLC, she helps event professionals move beyond AI experimentation to practical implementation — integrating AI into real-world event workflows to improve productivity, streamline planning and operations, sharpen decision-making, and create more personalized attendee experiences.

She has managed complex events from executive programs and intimate experiences to large-scale conferences for thousands of attendees, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, technology, and vendors — expertise that lets her teach AI through the lens of how event professionals actually work. A Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) with an MBA in Marketing, Kimberly is also a speaker and industry contributor on the practical application of AI in events. Her approach is simple: start with the business challenge, build the right workflow, and use technology to make the work smarter, not more complicated.

Gregory Perrine is Co-Founder and CEO of Pholeo, a platform focused on efficiencies for conference logistics. He spent close to twenty years planning events before starting to build software for them. Gregory is passionate about closing the AI gap for event planners, focusing on logistics, venue operations, food and beverage, decor, and AV.

He also practices what he preaches. Most of what Pholeo ships started as a tool he built to solve a problem he was hitting in his own planning cycle, then took to market once it worked. His work focuses on where AI actually removes friction from event operations and where it still isn't worth trusting.
