What is the Event Leaders AI Bootcamp™? +
A hands-on working day for event leaders who are done talking about AI and ready to put it to work. Instead of keynotes and an expo hall, you rotate through six peer-led Practitioner Labs™ and build real AI workflows on your own event — then leave with a 90-Day Implementation Plan you can run the next morning.
Who is it for? +
Event leaders across corporate, association, agency, nonprofit and independent practices — planners, directors and producers responsible for real events, plus rising pros ready to level up. You don't need to be technical; you need to run events and want to work smarter. The bootcamp is built for planners, not suppliers.
When and where is it? +
The 2027 tour visits twelve cities, roughly one a month, starting with Miami Beach on Sunday, January 10, 2027. Dates, venues and registration for every stop are on the
2027 Tour page. Venues are announced as each one is signed.
How much does it cost? +
$395 for a full-day bootcamp, or $295 per seat for teams of three or more. Mini bootcamps (Miami Beach and Las Vegas) are a flat $225. Every price includes the labs, materials and meals.
What's a mini bootcamp? +
A half-day version timed to a major industry conference so you can attend without extra travel — Miami Beach the Sunday before PCMA Convening Leaders, and Las Vegas the Sunday before IMEX America. An opening session on AI With Integrity, four 45-minute Practitioner Labs™, a seated lunch and the Implementation Exchange, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Seventy seats, 3.0 CMP-CE clock hours.
Is it in person or virtual? +
In person only. The value is in building alongside your peers at the table, not watching a screen.
The day
What actually happens during the day? +
You work in a pod of 18 and rotate through six 45-minute Practitioner Labs™, each pairing a real event challenge with a practical, technology-neutral AI workflow and led by a practitioner who does this work. There's a seated lunch mid-day. The day closes with the Implementation Exchange — roundtables of eight where you turn everything from the labs into your 90-Day Implementation Plan. No keynotes, no death-by-PowerPoint.
Will I actually build things, or just watch demos? +
You build. Every lab is hands-on and led by a working practitioner, not a vendor pitching a product — we don't do vendor demos, online or in person. You leave with a tool-agnostic prompt library, automation workflows and a 90-Day Implementation Plan built on your own event.

Mini bootcamps run four of the six after an opening session on AI With Integrity.
Do I need to bring a laptop? +
Yes — a laptop, not just a phone or tablet. The labs are hands-on and you'll build and save your own workflows as you go. Bring a charger, and bring an event you're working on right now; it's your case study for the day.
Do I need paid AI subscriptions or specific tools? +
No. The labs are technology-neutral and work with free tools. If you already use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, bring your logins so you can build in the environment your organization has approved.
Do I need to be technical or know how to code? +
Not at all. These labs are built for event professionals, not engineers. If you can run an event, you can run these workflows.
Are meals included? +
Yes — meals and refreshments during the program day are included, including a seated lunch.
The room & the people
Who leads the labs? +
Working practitioners who use AI in real event operations — people like Nick Borelli (Zenus), Faith Keiser and Kimberly Roberts, CMP, CSEP. Facilitator rosters vary by city; see the
Facilitators page. Every lab is peer-led by an expert in that domain, never by a sponsor.
How big is the room? +
Capped at 100 seats for full-day bootcamps and 70 for mini bootcamps, on purpose. Labs are hard-capped at 18 so everyone builds and every conversation is worth having.
Will there be time to network? +
Yes — the seated lunch and the Implementation Exchange are built for it. You spend the day with the same pod of planners and finish at a roundtable comparing plans, which is more useful than a cocktail hour of name tags.
Who are the partners in the room? +
A small number of Solution Partners — seven chairs at a mini bootcamp, ten at a full-day stop — sit at the tables and participate in the labs alongside planners. They don't get a booth, a stage or your contact details; your attendee list is never sold or shared.
Will the event be photographed? +
Yes. Each stop is professionally photographed for Event Innovation™'s website and social channels. By registering you consent to appearing in event photography; tell us at check-in if you'd prefer not to be photographed.
